The middle and high school swim teams are midway through their debut competitive season and have enjoyed much success to date. Currently, the high school team is in second place in the ISAL standings.
A great memory I have from FASNY is the strong sports curriculum. Playing in the basketball and soccer teams encouraged team spirit, a healthy lifestyle, and made for fun after-school activities.
To this day, I still play soccer competitively.

Students at FASNY benefit from:
- A typical American athletic program, combined with weekly physical education classes, as mandated by the rigorous French educational system
The interscholastic sports program at the high school provides a safe and competitive learning environment. It instills the skills necessary to participate in a lifetime of athletic and recreational activity while developing leadership and team spirit.
Both the girls and boys varsity cross-country teams finished second in the team rankings at the recent Independent Schools Athletic League (ISAL) championship.
Congratulations to the varsity soccer teams on their Homecoming wins. The girls emerged victorious over Greenwich Academy, 1-0, while the boys defeated Stepinac 6-0. Way to go, FASNY!
