PTA

The FASNY Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a vibrant, welcoming community of parents and faculty dedicated to supporting students, connecting families, and enriching school life. Whether you're new to the school or a returning family, the PTA is here to help make your experience at FASNY as smooth and rewarding as possible.
The PTA plays a key role in:
  • Welcoming new families through initiatives like the buddy system, offering resources, support, and opportunities to connect with others in the community.
  • Building community by organizing events throughout the year for students, parents, and faculty, ranging from casual morning coffees to signature celebrations such as the Spring Gala, Dîner en blanc, Kermesse, Newcomers Cocktails, and more.
  • Promoting engagement through volunteer opportunities and social gatherings that help families feel part of school life from day one.
  • Supporting tradition and culture, with events that celebrate both American and French customs, aligned with FASNY’s bilingual and multicultural mission.
  • Facilitating communication between parents and the school’s leadership, including coordination of the class-parent delegates who act as key liaisons.
  • Fundraising, with all proceeds supporting student-centered events, programs, and initiatives.
New ideas are always welcome, and everyone is encouraged to join and get involved in the FASNY PTA. Whether you have time to volunteer regularly or occasionally, there’s a place for you. Together, we help strengthen the FASNY community for all families.
