The "unofficial" FASNY Robotics team, The Green Brick Road, is taking the robotics world by storm!
The "unofficial" FASNY Robotics team, The Green Brick Road, is taking the robotics world by storm! In February, the 7 FASNY students, Ahmed Fliss ’28, Lavinia Gayet ’27, Estelle Santulin ’27, Ben Street ’27, Vincent Revise ‘26, Denis Boudaliez ‘26, and Justin Gingrich ‘26, came in first place in the qualifying round of the FIRST Lego League Robotics Challenge and they were off to the FIRST Regional Championship. The good news continued as the team officially clinched first place in the Regional Hudson Valley Championship!! With this latest win, the team has secured a spot in the World Robotics Championship in Houston, Texas as well as being selected to compete in the Global Innovation Award competition based on their Innovation Project. We cannot wait to see how far the team goes with their Innovation Project, “last mile” aiming to improve delivery efficiency and reducing secondary packaging.
A special thank you to mentor parents, Frederique Menzaghi and Anne Le Jaouen were the mentors for the Innovation Project and parent coaches Damien Boudaliez and Jay Gingrich. And of course, to STEM Coordinator Irum Kahn for inspiring and overseeing Robotics at FASNY!
