Preschoolers were delighted to have the opportunity to plant the vegetable garden at St. Augustine's, adjacent to the Manor campus. Thank you to Santos for tilling the soil, which the students enriched with compost. They then planted marigolds throughout the plot to keep out rabbits.
All of the preschoolers have had a chance to plant or water the garden, and they hope to eventually harvest lettuce, radishes, strawberries, beans, potatoes, tomatoes, and herbs.
