Color Me Beautiful
This week, senior Sabrina Sherman put the final touches on the playful pattern that now adorns the walls of the south stairwell in the high school building. Her design, which features geometric forms in primary colors, was inspired by the work of 20th-century Geometric Abstraction artists Sophie Taeuber-Arp and Jean Arp. "I tried to use this idea of having the person who enters the stairwell enter the art," said Sabrina. Here is video of the work in progress.
