Boys Soccer Triumphs Over LFNY
The boys varsity soccer team is still savoring Monday's magnificent 4-1 victory over the Lycée Français de New York, which came exactly one week after the girls team defeated LFNY.
Under the watch of a fair number of spectators—many of them FASNY parents and students who had traveled to SUNY Purchase, where the game was played—the Sharks emerged victorious. After being down 1-0 early on, FASNY quickly took control and dominated play for the rest of the match.
The first goal, scored by Fred Franken '19, unleashed a second one by Hector Remy '20. The third came courtesy of Martin Bogaert '19, on a corner, with Alex Carpentier '19 scoring the final goal on a penalty kick. Relive all of the highlights by clicking on the links below:
A shoutout is in order to the defense as well, especially Maxim Mounier '19, for keeping his eye on the ball at all times, and our steely goalkeepers.
This is the type of game we wish we had every day. Bravo, FASNY!
