Fresh off their recent 2-0 victory against the Lycée Français de New York (LFNY), the boys varsity soccer team is unvanquished after five games.
This season's match-up against LFNY was played on their home field, at Randall's Island. Two spectacular headers by Hector Remy ’20 in the first half of the game established a well-deserved lead for FASNY, who dominated play.
The second half proved more challenging. The heat, coupled with reduced energy levels after playing so forcefully at the start of the match, slowed down FASNY, as their opponents sought to make a comeback. Fortunately for the Sharks, LFNY had to contend with goalkeeper Killian Magdelaine ’20, who stopped all of the Lynxes' attempts to score.
We wish the team continued success. Go, Sharks!
