Dear Fasny Students,
Below you will find are two lists. On the first list you will find one book assigned by your next year’s English teacher and one assigned by your social studies / history teacher. On the second list you will find books your teachers have chosen for you to read in your free time. This list will help you choose literature geared to the interests of middle school and high school students. The books listed here are available at local libraries.
As always, if you have any reservations about a particular book, please consult your parents.
We sincerely hope that all of you will make reading a big part of your summer activities. Consistent and varied reading is a key factor in academic success. Please read, read, read, and then read some more.
