Founded: 1980
Accreditation: New York Association of Independent Schools, the New York State Education Department, and by the French Ministry of National Education
Curriculum: The School’s rigorous bilingual, bicultural curriculum includes a Pre-School with Nursery, Pre-K, and Kindergarten, the Lower School Grades 1-5, and the Upper School Grades 6-12. Graduates are awarded a FASNY diploma and are prepared to pass the French Baccalauréat (ES and S).
Faculty: 93 full-time equivalent teachers of whom 85 percent hold advanced degrees (MS and PhD)
Community: 800+ coed day students, 446 families of which 70 percent are of French origin and speak French as the first language in the home, 20 percent are American, and 10 percent are from other countries. More than 50 nationalities are represented.
